As Vice President of Product Strategy, Ron Owens is responsible for the strategic product and services roadmap for First Data Voice Services. In this role, he helps define, manage, create and maintain the competitive advantages First Data brings to clients’ mission critical applications.

Owens has over 18 years experience in technology, banking and voice automation, and prior to joining First Data, worked at companies such as EDS, Bank of America and most recently Intervoice, where he was Vice President of Global Consulting Services. Ron is considered an industry expert, having published and contributed to regional, national and international articles related to the implementation of highly sophisticated speech recognition applications. Ron holds an MBA from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
