Conexant Systems has partnered with LG Electronics for multiphase integration of Conexant's Far-Field Voice Input technology in LG's range of home appliances, such as air conditioners and vacuum robots.

Conexant's Far-Field Voice Input Processing solutions provides clean, noise-free speech signals for voice control of appliance settings, enabling highly accurate speech recognition for voice command and control at extremely low power.

Conexant's Far-Field Voice Processing Suite is a combination of algorithms including ambient noise reduction, dereverberation, and selective source pickup, and high-performance audio processors such as the CX20865.

The company's CX20865 platform, with integrated quad 24-bit high-performance analog-to-digital converters, enhances voice control performance in the presence of random stationary and nonstationary ambient interference, enabling live demos in the retail environment and trade shows while enhancing the usability of various voice-controlled home appliances.
