More Firms Agree to License Klausner Visual Voicemail

Alcatel-Lucent USA, MetroPCS, J2 Global Communications, Earthlink, AireSpring, Bandwidth.com, Nextiva, and Samsung have all agreed to license Klausner Technologies' visual voicemail technology, thereby putting an end to patent infringement lawsuits filed by Klausner.

To date, Klausner Technologies has licensed its visual voicemail technology  to more than50 companies. Current licensees of the patents include major U.S. and European mobile operators, handset manufacturers, VoIP/cable operators, enterprise voicemail providers, and over the top providers of Visual Voicemail services.

"Our patented technology lets consumers view, prioritize, and select voice messages from their mobile phones or via the Internet," said Judah Klausner, CEO of Klausner Technologies.

All the firms had been defendants in patent infringement lawsuit brought by Klausner Technologies in the Eastern District of Texas. Klausner Technologies continues to asserts its visual voicemail patents in lawsuits still pending with Toshiba America, Primus Telecommunications, and PaeTec, the remaining three out of the initial 12defendants.
