Mutare’s Hosted Speech-to-Text Now Supports Panasonic Voicemail Systems
Mutare's giSTT Hosted speech-to-text service is now available for use with Panasonic voicemail systems.
The first company to deploy the solution is Advanced Digital Group (ADG), a cable, telephone, and computer service company, which is using the solution internally as well as re-selling it to customers. Gary Heller, CEO of ADG, said, "Since I have DID [Direct Inward Dialing] lines I was also able to include my mobile phone's voicemail to the Mutare voice-to-text solution. When I'm in a meeting I turn off the ringer on my phone and I'm able to see who left me a voice message, regardless if it was left on the business or my mobile voicemail. I am now able to see what their call is about so I’m able to get to my most important messages in a timely fashion. This service saves me time, which in return saves me money, not to mention the immediate service and feedback I can give to my customers."
giSTT Hosted works with any enterprise voicemail system that can forward a sound file to email. Current platforms supported by Hosted include: Avaya CallPilot, IP Office, Avaya Aura Messaging, ShoreTel, Cisco, Cisco Unity, Cisco UC 500, Asterisk, AVST, BCM, NEC, and Broadsoft.
"We are pleased to have our first giSTT Hosted installation using Panasonic KX-TVA50 and KX_TVA200, as this rounds out our offer in the small to medium business market," said Scott Brown, director of sales at Mutare, in a statement.
