Phone.com Calls on Yap for Automated Voicemail-to-Text
Yap announced today the addition of Phone.com to its growing list of voice-over-IP-based phone services offering fully automated voicemail-to-text transcription.
Automated voicemail-to-text allows users to read their voicemail messages as email or text messages at a fraction of the time required to navigate traditional voicemail menu systems. Transcribed voice messages can be read, shared with co-workers via email on a computer or smartphone, as well as archived for future reference.
"Our customers are incredibly busy and they need every time-saving advantage we can offer them," says Ari Rabban, CEO at Phone.com. "Yap's fully automated voice-to-text service allows us to provide our users a much better way to access and manage their voicemails."
Phone.com's automated voicemail-to-text service is built on Yap's carrier-grade, cloud infrastructure.
"We've reached a point where high-performance speech recognition services rival the accuracy levels of human transcriptionists," says Igor Jablokov, CEO at Yap."Businesses that depend on Phone.com will definitely appreciate the convenience, quality and fast turn-around-times that our automated voice-to-text service delivers."
