Voxeo and Telenet Partner to Deliver Contact Center Solutions
Under a new value-added reseller agreement reached recently, Telenet will deliver its contact center solutions on Voxeo's Prophecy and VoiceObjects unified self-service platforms using Voxeo on-demand hosting, on-premise software, or in hybrid combinations of both. These options allow Telenet customers worldwide to use hosting for both unexpectedly high call volumes and for disaster recovery.
"Voxeo is the ideal technology partner to provide an open infrastructure for such diverse functionalities as inbound and outbound automated calling, call recording, or conferencing," stresses Jürgen Day, account manager at Telenet. "Whether it is classical in-house installations, SaaS setups, or hybrid solutions, Voxeo helps us tune our communications solutions to the specific business needs of our customers."
In addition to customized Telenet voice solutions and the Telenet Voice4J platform, the partnership provides customers with the additional benefits of a standards-based IVR platform, a sophisticated service creation environment, and comprehensive analytics and reporting capabilities.
"In line with the current trend toward more open and flexible infrastructures for IVR and voice portals, this is yet another validation of our business model of delivering and supporting great platforms to companies who build great solutions", comments Michael Codini, managing director of Voxeo Germany. "More and more solution partners use our products because they want and need to offer these benefits to their customers. In the current economically challenging times, openness, compatibility, flexibility, and the choice between CAPEX and OPEX are crucial elements in successfully adjusting to the shifting market needs. The partnership agreement with Telenet addresses exactly those points."
