MedQuist and Amerinet Sign Contract for SpeechQ for Radiology

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., -- MedQuist has signed a long-term contract with Amerinet, which serves more than 22,000 acute and non-acute healthcare providers nationwide, for SpeechQ for Radiology speech recognition software. The agreement was awarded for three years beginning on June 1.
Powered by the Philips SpeechMagic speech engine, SpeechQ for Radiology integrates with most radiology-specific information systems. With SpeechQ for Radiology, radiologists have full control of their report creation process. They decide whether to immediately electronically sign a report, save and complete it at a later time, or send it to a transcriptionist for editing. This flexibility allows radiologists to select the best method to handle each report and improves their productivity.
