London Property Firm Selects BigHand

Thomas Davidson, a London commercial property firm, has successfully completed its firm-wide roll out of the BigHand digital dictation workflow solution.

The firm implemented BigHand technology to improve the management of workflow; thereby, offering outsource dictations for immediate transcription.

Luke Holland, a partner at Thomas Davidson, championed the switch to digital dictation, and comments: "I had worked with BigHand in previous employment at Churston Heard and so knew how efficient the production of our documents could be. BigHand is really easy to use and flexible, giving our surveyors the freedom to dictate remotely and send through their work to our outsourcing agency for same day completion. Secretaries have more time for value adding tasks, thereby rationalizing their typing and work prioritization.

"We no longer employ temporary secretarial cover and have not needed to replace secretarial staff when lost to natural attrition. Analogue tape maintenance costs have been eradicated as well. The elimination of these costs has demonstrated a clear return on our investment in BigHand. Our workflow process has been streamlined exceptionally well since the implementation over 2 years ago.
