Vianto Releases E2Go

Vialto, a provider of voice-driven multimodal applications for the mobile workforce, announced E2Go 3.0 for Microsoft Exchange, a second-generation voice-driven application optimized for mobile business users.

With E2Go, mobile employees can use any phone to listen and respond to their email and appointments, and voice dial anyone in their personal address book or corporate directories. Vialto E2Go is an enterprise-secure, server based software application that provides a voice query capability to enable mobile users to access their email. The Vialto solution has four basic commands, can be used from any existing phone, and scalable to the entire workforce (everyone in the company can use it). In addition, E2Go provides a customized alert and reminder system using SMS (text messaging) which notifies users of important updates such as urgent emails or meeting changes.

E2Go is standards-based and requires no voice training. The product uses the latest VoiceXML, Automated Speech Recognition and Text to Speech technologies from Nuance Communications.

Availability, Configuration and Free Trial E2Go is available now directly from Vialto or its Vialto value added resellers and integrators. Vialto uses standard interfaces to interact with an existing Exchange Server and can be configured in a few hours. Once installed, anyone within the company with a valid user account on Exchange may access the E2Go server. Pricing is available on request.
