Aumtech and Paraxip Technologies to Jointly Deliver IVR Solutions in the Hybrid Network

NEW YORK - Aumtech, Inc. and Paraxip Technologies announced that they have entered a strategic agreement to co-market and jointly deliver IVR Solutions to service providers and enterprise customers worldwide. The companies further announced that they have completed the initial interoperability tests between their products. The combination of Paraxip's software-based, speech-optimized media gateway, along with Aumtech's VoiceXML IP-IVR platform and Migration strategies provides IVR solutions using the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) standard for Voice over IP (VoIP).

In a typical configuration, the Paraxip Gateway provides telephony access points on the edge of the network, while Aumtech's Carrier Grade Advanced Telephony Environment (CGATE) platform and applications provide centralized IVR services based on VoIP.
