Migros Zurich Selects Voxware's VoiceLogistics to Streamline Operations

PRINCETON, NJ and BIEL, SWITZERLAND - Voxware Inc. (NASDAQ OTC: VOXW)a speech recognition company providing natural language-based solutions for industrial applications, announced that Migros Zurich has selected Voxware's VoiceLogistics system for an initial installation in its Zurich, Switzerland facility. Migros has approximately 1000 potential VoiceLogistics users in 8 distribution centers. Voxware's business partner, ExperTeam AG (Switzerland), has been awarded the contract with Migros Zurich for the initial Voxware implementation. ExperTeam is a leading professional services company in Switzerland that provides business logistics solutions for warehouse optimization, distribution and integrated wireless fulfillment for the retail grocery, consumer product and institutional foodservice industries. As part of the contract, ExperTeam will deliver system and application software, hardware and professional services for the initial voice systems at Migros' 130,000 square foot operation in Zurich. Implementation is to begin immediately and is anticipated to go live in April. The implementation will be evaluated over the next 60 days to perfect the system before rolling it out to the other 60 potential VoiceLogistics users in the Zurich facility. The project will initially provide a VoiceLogistics picking application in the beverage area. Migros expects to realize improved productivity and cost savings with the speech-based supply chain solution. Migros will also be evaluating a voice-based yard management application that will provide more efficient traffic management and improved throughput for the Berne operation. "Over the past few months we have worked closely with ExperTeam to define a speech-based solution for the Migros application that delivers a significant improvement in speed and accuracy," said John Roth, Voxware's Director of International Sales and Business Development. "Once completed, this implementation can be used as a successful template for other Migros distribution centers throughout Switzerland.
