Elix Solution Chosen by Desjardins Group
MONTREAL, QUEBEC - Elix announced that its solution has been chosen by Desjardins Group for the implementation of its AccèsD (1 800 CAISSES) and VISA Desjardins voice system services. The Elix IVS VoiceXML for Windows 2000 interactive voice response platform will enable the development, operation, and management of the financial institution's voice system infrastructure. The platform also allows the integration of an automated speech recognition (ASR) system that will facilitate telephone banking transactions for Desjardins' members and customers with the simple use of voice. "When we look at Elix's impressive track record and its vast experience in the implementation of such solutions, the Desjardins Group is confident about the fulfillment of this project," said M. Eric Lemieux, vice president, access services and electronic payments, at Desjardins Group. "We believe that it will help maintain user-friendly and quality customer service for our members and clients and that it will confirm our leadership position in this field." "Without a doubt, Desjardins has one of the best strategies in interactive telephone services in the financial business and we are eager to bring our years of expertise in implementing interactive voice response service projects," says François Rodrigue, president and CEO at Elix. "We are proud and eager to launch this project with Desjardins' teams so we can help them offer more to their members and clients."
