Convergys Adds Apptera's Configurable Speech Applications to SpeechPort Platform

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Apptera™ and Convergys has signed an agreement under which Convergys will provide Apptera's suite of packaged speech applications as part of its speech platform.  As part of the company's managed service, Convergys will offer Apptera's Financial Services Suite as well as its new packaged applications as they become available. Apptera's configurable packaged speech applications enhance Convergys' ability to voice-enable customer services transactions.      

Apptera launched its Financial Services Suite earlier this year, which incorporates an array of packaged speech applications for financial services.  The applications include account information, funds transfer, name and address capture, ATM/branch locator, mortgage quote and account payment.  All of Apptera's applications have been pre-tested and are certified on the Convergys SpeechPort™ platform.
