TextAloud Incorporates Nuance RealSpeak into Software

CLEMMONS, N.C. — Nuance^® RealSpeak^® Solo text-to-speech (TTS), a series of computer-generated voices, is now offered as part of NextUp.com's TextAloud. With this new speech synthesis software from Nuance Communications, TextAloud converts text into spoken audio for listening on a PC, and can also save to audio files for playback on portables like the iPod^®. TextAloud now offers U.S., British and Australian English, Spanish, French and German, as well as new access to Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Italian, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese and Swedish voices previously unavailable.
