Allconnect Selects Gold Systems to Develop Voice-Recognition Application
BOULDER, Colo. - Allconnect Inc. launched Voice-XML self-service speech recognition applications by Gold Systems.
Allconnect helps movers establish power, telephone, Internet, cable television and other home services all at once in a phone call. The service is free to consumers, and service offerings include top household brands like BellSouth, Sprint, Verizon, Direct TV, Dish Network, Earthlink, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Terminix.
Gold Systems worked with Allconnect to develop inbound and outbound call applications on the company's Avaya IVR platform. By speaking, callers now can check order status, receive automated callbacks with changes in order status and obtain important order information.
As a part of this project, Allconnect also introduced a new service developed by Gold Systems, the Confirm Qualifier Application. The new application receives calls transferred from partner companies and offers additional services the caller may be interested in acquiring.
With the new Gold Systems' applications, Allconnect services are now provided via Voice-XML, allowing its Web-based systems to be available through audio dialogs and providing consumers with the choice to use the Internet, the Allconnect voice recognition system or both.
The new Gold Systems applications run on Allconnect's existing XML Data Interface Process (DIP). Associated TAS functions have been replaced with the Gold Systems Vonetix Document Plug-In for exchanging XML data. ScanSoft's speech recognition and Speechify text-to-speech (TTS) products are also being used.
