Phonetic Systems Federal Sales Office Supports Voice Enabled Directory Assistance Applications
WASHINGTON D.C. -- Phonetic Systems announced that its Federal Sales Office is supporting federal installations of the company's large-scale, voice-enabled directory search solutions. Phonetic Systems Voice Search Engine allows the creation of applications including auto-attendant, DA, call routing, paging and security systems for millions of listings. Market veteran Fred Herrmann oversees Phonetic Systems' Federal Sales Office. He joined Phonetic Systems from Fujitsu Business Communications Systems, where he established that company's Federal Government Division supporting DOD and civilian agencies. Mr. Herrmann also directed state government sales on a nationwide basis with Microlog Corporation and held executive sales positions at Harris Corporation and Plan Services Inc. Mark Bannon, vice president of sales and technical services of Phonetic Systems, said, "Under Fred Herrmann's direction we are enabling customers to use our mature, road-tested technology to guarantee secure telecommunications while they shrink operating expenses and improve productivity." Phonetic Systems' voice authentication/authorization, password reset and business continuity applications are components of a secure, flexible directory strategy. Phonetic Systems provides centralized access to multiple contact modes by individual, location, department, etc. This is crucial for military personnel who frequently change location yet must always be reachable.
