InfoTalk-Recognizer 8.0 Now Available on Linux

HONG KONG, CHINA - InfoTalk Corporation, a provider of multi-lingual conversational speech understanding technology, introduced the Linux version of InfoTalk-Recognizer 8.0, the company's core speech recognition engine. Cost-effective voice-enabled solutions can be built based on InfoTalk's state-of-the-art speech technologies running on the Linux operating system. With the provision of the Linux version of InfoTalk-Recognizer 8.0, InfoTalk extends the operating system platform choice available for enterprises and service providers. InfoTalk-Recognizer 8.0 also supports other operating systems such as Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Unix operating systems such as Sun Solaris, SCO OpenServer and SCO UnixWare. InfoTalk-Recognizer 8.0 is InfoTalk's core conversational speech recognition engine that is capable of understanding multiple and mixed languages commonly used in the Asia Pacific region. InfoTalk-Recognizer 8.0 supports commonly used operating systems as well as telephony interface technologies from both proprietary and open-platform vendors. The engine supports both client-server and standalone (non-client-server) architectures, enabling integration with solutions from all Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system vendors.
