Apptera Launches Partner Program

SAN BRUNO , C alif. Apptera unveiled its alliance program designed to unite companies throughout the speech solutions value chain. The Apptera Partner Program (APP) will initially include a group of more than 15 platform providers, service bureaus, voice application hosters and services companies. 


Collaboratively, Apptera and its partners will integrate, sell and market complete packaged solutions that are targeted, timely and cost-effective for enterprises of all sizes.  These standards-based speech solutions seamlessly augment Apptera's array of packaged applications.


The APP consists of two membership categories:

  1. APP for Resellers and Service Bureaus
    The APP for resellers and service bureaus helps partners begin selling, marketing, deploying and supporting Apptera packaged solutions.   Members receive software, full technical training, demonstration capabilities, sales and marketing support, and support services at discounted prices.  The charter members include Intervoice, iTa, NEC, Premier Technologies and Tele-Direct Call Centers .  
  2. APP for Technology and Services Companies
    The APP for technology and services companies facilitates the relationship between Apptera and businesses that provide software, hardware and services critical to the development of Apptera applications.  Similar to the reseller category, technology and services companies receive Apptera software (where necessary), full technical support and training.  Among the charter members are Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc., Intel Corporation, Nuance, SandCherry, ScanSoft, Visa International and Walsh Media.
