Voice Signal Technologies Appoints Former Ericsson Executive Jan Pantzar as Vice President of Sales

WOBURN, Mass. - Voice Signal Technologies named Jan Pantzar as its new vice president of sales. Pantzar, with more than 20 years of experience in the wireless and electronics industries, was previously a vice president of sales and supply for Ericsson Mobile Platforms. Pantzar will be responsible for driving sales globally and expanding Voice Signal's distribution channel. As vice president of sales and marketing at Ericsson Mobile Platforms, Pantzar secured contracts with many of the top mobile terminal manufacturers worldwide. Pantzar was involved in defining and implementing company strategy as well as responsible for sourcing and licensing the solutions and intellectual property that helped Ericsson Mobile Platforms gain contracts with the worldwide mobile phone manufacturers like Sony Ericsson, LGE and others. Prior to Ericsson Mobile Platforms, Pantzar held executive positions with various companies including STMicroelectronics, where he was general manager of the Nordic region. He also served as the European director of distribution, marketing and segment sales for Cypress Semiconductor. Pantzar has held senior positions at Ubicom, Nordisk Elektronik and Datalogic. Pantzar completed his MSEE from the Lund Institute of Technology.
