Cinema City Launches Voice-activated Ticket Purchasing Service
NETANYA, Israel - Cinema City, a cinema complex with 23 Cinema theaters in Israel, launched a new telephony service that enables purchasing movie tickets using speech recognition.
The service was developed and implemented by BetaSoft - an Israeli integrator specializing in development and implementation of integrative ticketing and ordering systems for leisure events, and uses NSC's speech recognition engine.
Using the new service, the caller will be able to say the name of the movie he/she wants to see, choose the time and date of the show and the number of tickets required.
BetaSoft, the integrator launching the service, used NSC's speech recognition product for this project. NSC's product, a speech recognition engine designed for telephony speech driven services, implements speech recognition technology on standard PCI blades, which enables CPU free speech recognition solutions.
