Audium Releases Audium 3
NEW YORK, NY - Audium announced the general availability of Audium 3, a package for enterprises and voice service bureaus to create, build, and run voice applications. Audium 3 introduces a new graphical development environment, full VoiceXML 2.0 compliant operation, new SpeechWorks speech recognition support, and integration with ILOG JRules rules engine software to deliver intelligent and cost effective speech-driven applications that customers prefer to use. Through "Audium Elements," encapsulated speech-enabled components of voice applications, developers can create business-goal driven voice applications on Audium 3 by focusing solely on business logic and the voice user interface and deliver those voice applications to any voice gateway. "Audium 3 delivers on the promise of a voice application platform that helps businesses take full advantage of the benefits and cost savings of a VoiceXML IVR and speech recognition," said Michael Bergelson, CEO. "Using Audium 3, enterprises can provide improved customer service over the phone by incorporating business intelligence into voice applications and delivering a dynamic personalized experience to each caller." The release introduces new features to meet the needs of voice application service bureau implementations as well as enterprise deployments. New operations, administration, management and provisioning (OAM&P) capabilities support voice applications running in a mission critical environment and enable analysis of caller behavior across networks of Audium servers and VoiceXML browsers. New user profiling and management and logging features create powerful customer segmentation models and help businesses differentiate service over the phone. Audium 3 includes: -The Audium Builder, a drag-and-drop GUI that increases voice user interface developers' productivity allowing development teams to develop in parallel and focus on business logic development.
-The Audium Library, a storehouse of pre- built, fully tested Audium Elements that speed application development and can be extended by development teams then reused across multiple voice applications or between enterprises.
-The Audium Server, a powerful run-time engine that interacts directly with a voice gateway, enterprise applications, and databases to dynamically deliver voice applications to every caller.
Audium 3 works with most VoiceXML gateways including VoiceGenie, Nuance Voice Web Server and Verascape.
