Intervoice Teams with Apptera to Offer Applications to Financial Services

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Intervoice Inc. (Nasdaq: INTV) and Apptera™ have signed an agreement whereby Intervoice will resell Apptera's suite of financial services applications under the company's Omvia® Voice Express brand. As part of the relationship, the companies will jointly market and sell Apptera's comprehensive suite of packaged applications for financial services, including account information, funds transfer, name and address capture, ATM/branch locator, rate quote and account payment.

The partnership was formed to address the growing demand for standards-based solutions and to capitalize on the advantages that open systems platforms bring to the voice self-service market.

Apptera's financial services applications will interoperate with the Intervoice Omvia Media Server, enabling a cohesive merger with open standards platform components.
