SandCherry Announces Delivery of Simplified Multimodal Solutions
ATLANTA - SandCherry Inc. announced the ability to deliver multimodal services directly to advanced handsets from vendors such as Motorola, Nokia and Sony Ericsson. Enabling delivery of speech-enabled applications to any phone using the voice network, SandCherry's SoftServer platform can now support multimodal application delivery over a data network to BREW 2.1 handsets and J2ME or Symbian devices supporting MIDP 2.0.
The SoftServer platform's multimodal gateway software offers service providers architecture for deploying multimodal applications without eliminating the option of using multimodal gateways from other vendors. By overcoming the need for separate, overlapping speech-enabled service solutions - for a wide variety of network-based service, automated customer service and workforce management application devices - it decreases the cost and complexity of multi-channel application delivery.
