Eicon Introduces Products and Enhancements to the Diva Server Product Family

SAN FRANCISCO - Eicon Networks Corporation announced the launch of the new Diva Server PRI V3 flagship products for ISDN primary rate, E1 and T1 connections. These new Diva Server PRI adapters provide full compliance with the latest PCI 2.2 standard, allowing PCI-X compatibility and offering increased processing performance combined with low power consumption.

Also announced is the Diva Server software suite 7.0 for Microsoft Windows-based operating systems. This offers new, advanced features and functions to enable fax, voice and unified messaging applications with the Diva Server range of intelligent communications adapters. With the unique combined virtual adapter feature (patent pending), several individual adapters within a system can be combined to appear to the application as a single Diva Server adapter.

With the new generic tone detection and generation capabilities now open to Diva Server-based applications, greater flexibility is ensured for adapting to global call signaling standards. The automatic gain control feature is also new, enhancing voice quality and substantially improving the maximum size of conferences. Up to 60 parties can be supported in a single conference. To further advance PBX integration, several additional ETSI DSS-1 and Q-SIG signaling parameters have been added.
