Nuance and Ydilo Sign Reseller Agreement

MENLO PARK, CA and MADRID, SPAIN - Nuance (Nasdaq: NUAN), a developer of Voice Web software, and Ydilo Advanced Voice Solutions announced their VAR (Value Added Reseller) agreement. Under the terms of the agreement Ydilo will be able to offer special conditions on Nuance software licenses to customers. Main beneficiaries of this development will be vertical markets such as financial services, insurance companies, airlines and government agencies that for security or confidentiality reasons need to house equipment on their own premises. The upfront investment in hardware and software licenses can be substantial. However, they are usually offset in a matter of months by the savings made possible through an automated voice solution. The favourable economic conditions of Nuance licenses for Ydilo customers established in the contract will encourage adoption of speech recognition technology in these markets.
