Phonetic Releases Packaged Operator Services Application on Microsoft Speech Server 2004

Phonetic Systems announced the availability of PhoneticOperator and Phonetic Receptionist on Microsoft Speech Server 2004 to deliver automated attendant and information retrieval applications to organizations of any size.
These award-winning, speech-activated applications will be available as part of a catalog of applications that are available to customers when they are deploying speech server. PhoneticOperator is a packaged horizontal speech application targeted to the large enterprise to provide fast, accurate and highly scalable speech-enabled auto attendant, call routing and information retrieval functions. PhoneticOperator also supports dynamic changes to information without the need for speech tuning.

For the customer, this means that speech tuning costs are eliminated, overall customer satisfaction is higher and they receive a faster return on investment. PhoneticReceptionist is a scaled down version of PhoneticOperator that offers fast, accurate and affordable auto attendant and directory look-up functions for the small-to-medium-size organizations. Both applications solve the customer satisfaction issues created by telephone keypad navigation, long hold times and the operational cost issues related to adding additional staff to augment over-burdened operators.
