ThinkEngine Networks Names VP of Sales

ThinkEngine Networks, developer of voice services platforms, announced the appointment of David Ahee as Vice President of Sales. Ahee will help bring ThinkEngine Networks' new voice services hardware system, the TEN1000 Voice Services Platform, to carriers and voice application service providers (VASPs). Ahee brings strong sales management experience in the service provider and networking industry. He joins ThinkEngine from Nexsi Systems, where he served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and built the sales infrastructure that drove the company's early growth phase. Prior to Nexsi, Ahee served as Vice President of North American Sales for Unisphere Networks, where he built and managed the North American sales team. Under his direction, this team expanded revenue accounts in the first year from zero to $40 million. Prior to this position, Ahee was responsible for early revenue accounts as Director of Western Region Sales at Redstone Communications Inc., which was later acquired by Unisphere. Ahee also held Sales and Sales Management positions at Ascend Communications, Inc., Newbridge Networks, Inc., ROLM, and Upjohn. "With extensive background in sales in the service provider and networking industries, as well as relationships with well over 200 major accounts worldwide, Ahee brings substantial experience in growing start-ups into commercial volume organizations," said Michael G. Mitchell, president and CEO of ThinkEngine Networks. "David will be a key member of the management team that will lead ThinkEngine into the next phase of growth." Ahee holds a BS in Business Administration from Wayne State University.
