Loquendo Unveils Embedded Speech Daemon

Loquendo released the Embedded Speech Daemon (Loquendo ESD), available on Windows™-based pocket devices. It enables access to both Loquendo TTS and ASR embedded technologies, within multimodal solutions.

 

Loquendo ESD is a component for Windows Pocket PC™ 2003 devices, and is available to customers with Loquendo Embedded TTS and Loquendo Embedded ASR speech engines.

 

XML-driven, ESD offers a socket-based interface, so that by using XML-based standard commands (such as <play> and <reco>), applications have access to speech synthesis and voice recognition.

 

Loquendo ESD also comes with a plug-in for Pocket Internet Explorer, enabling the browser to support multimodal applications.
