VoiceWise Launches SmartPBX

VoiceWise Technologies announced the general availability release of VoiceWise SmartPBX, a business phone system with speech recognition, dynamic speech generation and full scripting capabilities.

VoiceWise SmartPBX combines all the features found in standard business phone systems with additional features, such as e-mail of voicemail, voice activated dialing, voice activated auto-attendant, sequential/simultaneous ring groups, and automatic call distribution (ACD). Administrators and users can define scripts to add new features or customize existing ones.

"In construction, great communications is key, that's why we went with SmartPBX," said Andrew Kerr, project manager at Landis Construction. "The automated attendant, voice dialing, and configurable find me/follow me really make it easy for our designers and managers to stay in touch with our clients and suppliers. And the recording feature provides us with an archive of our important conversations."
