DeliverHealth Partners with Google Cloud on Documentation Solutions
DeliverHealth has partnered with Google Cloud to take advantage of Google's generative artificial intelligence for its clinical documentation solutions, combining Google Cloud's advanced Gemini model with DeliverHealth's repository of 150,000 audio hours a month of human-curated medical notes.
Through this partnership, DeliverHealth will leverage Google Cloud's generative AI capabilities to empower more than 60,000 clinicians to document patient care entirely through voice, ranging from operative reports and lab result summaries to radiology reads and inpatient notes. By integrating Google Cloud's AI capabilities, this partnership enables detailed medical language and natural language processing.
"Clinicians are spending nearly 28 hours a week on administrative tasks, and 82 percent are reporting burnout," said Aashima Gupta, global director of healthcare strategy and solutions at Google Cloud, in a statement. "By leveraging our Gemini models, DeliverHealth's solution can help alleviate this burden by streamlining clinical documentation so physicians can focus on providing patient care."
"DeliverHealth is thrilled to partner with Google Cloud to bring a precise and intuitive medical speech engine directly to those on the frontlines," said Sasanka Yella Manchali, CEO of DeliverHealth, in a statement. "With Google Cloud's powerful AI models and our ability to create human-curated medical documentation, clinicians can use their voice to generate structured, billable documentation. This is about more than innovative technology; it's about giving caregivers more time and peace of mind to focus on what they do best: caring for patients."
Google Cloud's customers retain control over their data. Access and use of patient data are protected through Google Cloud's infrastructure and secure data storage that support Health Insurance Portability and Accountabily Act (HIPAA) compliance, and DeliverHealth's security, privacy controls, and processes.
