Omni AI Adds Voice Recognition in Latest Update

Omni AI has added OmniSpeak speech recognition in the latest version of Omni AI Assistant and keyboard apps for iPhone.

Omni Speak, available in version 1.5 of the app, allows users to interact with ChatGPT via voice using on-device speech recognition technology. Users can also link the feature to their keyboards to dictate in email, messaging, social media, and word processing.

The OmniSpeak feature uses Apple's Speech framework and only sends queries to OpenAI after users ask a question. Omni Speak also creates a local thread of voice conversation histories in users' iCloud accounts.
