Philips Teams with Sembly AI on Speech Technology for Meetings

Speech Processing Solutions, which provides speech-to-text solutions sold under the Philips brand, has teamed up with Sembly AI to provide high-quality microphones and smart meeting technology that goes beyond simple speech recognition and offers users instant searchable meeting transcripts, highlights key discussion moments, and creates summaries.

The new SmartMeeting Conference devices come with microphones that offer 360-degree recording while capturing each speaker in the room. One product even features an intelligent camera, which can be configured to automatically recognize which participant is speaking and focus on that person. Users can also forward meeting summaries to colleagues who missed the meeting.
