Adobe Acquires Sayspring, Says its Betting on Voice
Adobe announced on its blog that it is betting on voice, and has acquired Sayspring. “We have been actively experimenting with voice interfaces across our product offerings over the past few years,” according to the post, but now Adobe is taking the next step with an acquisition. Sayspring, for its part, allows users to build voice applications without coding.
Founded in 2017, the Sayspring team will join Adobe and begin to integrate the technology into the Adobe product portfolio. Current Sayspring customers will continue to have access to the product.
Over on the Sayspring site, founder Mark Webster wrote, “Now, as part of Adobe, Sayspring will be able to continue pursuing our mission at the scale required for the growing and fast-moving voice ecosystem.”
