ReadSpeaker Launches SpeakTTS

ReadSpeaker has released Speak TTS, an app for adding a text-to-speech voice for Android devices. Available on Google Play, Speak TTS uses an embedded text-to-speech (TTS) engine that can be added as a new Android system voice.

The Speak TTS voices are available in U.S., U.K., and Australian English, Spanish, German, French, Dutch, and Swedish.

The software also interacts with other software, such as e-books, the TalkBack screen reader, and third-party apps that can use the Android system voice.

When users download the Speak TTS app, they can test the available voices and purchase a license (a voice) and it is installed as an Android system voice application. It can be used on any Android app that employs speech using the system voice. The license is for personal, individual use only.
