Allegheny Health Network Selects M*Modal
Allegheny Health Network (AHN), part of Highmark Health, has selected M*Modal Fluency for Imaging as its multifacility radiology reporting and workflow management solution.
With M*Modal, AHN has implemented a cohesive documentation strategy to deliver reports for approximately 1 million radiology exams per year and standardize with a single vendor. The M*Modal documentation solutions are being used with AHN's Epic electronic health records system, incorporating M*Modal's proprietary combination of speech recognition and Natural Language Understanding technologies.
"The M*Modal technology helps us deliver high-quality reports, faster and more efficiently," said Dr. Marc Wallace, director of imaging informatics at Allegheny Health Network, in a statement. "The accuracy and response time of the M*Modal solution has improved our workflow considerably."
Built-in CAPD functionality called Assist delivers truly real-time, in-workflow and automated feedback to radiologists for improving the quality, completeness and compliance of the radiology report.

Radiologists at Allegheny Health Network are armed with the complete M*Modal imaging solution suite, including Fluency for Imaging with the Critical Results Documentation and Peer Review modulesas well as M*Modal Scout for delivering clinical and business intelligence.
