ReadSpeaker Partners with TASKCA, WebStudy

Following a new partnership with Team of Advocates for Special Kids (TASK), a nonprofit organization serving the disabled, ReadSpeaker's audio-based reading, writing, and studying tool for struggling readers, TextAid, can now be used for free at the TASK technology center in California.

ReadSpeaker's text-to-speech tools provide bimodal presentation, or listening while reading along with the highlighted text, and improve comprehension, increase motivation, allow for autonomy, and raise self-esteem for struggling readers of all types, whether dyslexics, language learners or the learning disabled. With ReadSpeaker TextAid, readers can listen to any text, including ebooks, PDF files, images, and even text as they write it.

This partnership comes on the heels of another integration deal, with the WebStudy Learning Management System. ReadSpeaker's Listen button will be integrated into the WebStudy LMS, allowing students and faculty to listen to content via ReadSpeaker's text-to-speech technology.
