Samsung Handsets to Integrate NXP's LifeVibes

Samsung will integrate NXP Software's LifeVibes VoiceExperience into its new Galaxy A5, A7, E5, and E7 smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy A and E handsets will be using LifeVibes VoiceExperience speech software from NXP Software to power Samsung’s Always Clear Voice Auto Control, which improves the voice quality in any environment for circuit switched calls, VoLTE calls and video calling.

"We're delighted to embed our LifeVibes VoiceExperience software to power clear conversations and exciting new audio features on their new Galaxy A and E models which embeds the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 and 615 (MSM8916/8939). The Galaxy A7 is a beautiful phone, and at only 6.3mm thick. NXP Software's innovations enable two-microphone noise suppression and echo cancellation," said Charles Park, head of NXP Software, in a statement. "As our solution is software based, and, for example, because the Qualcomm and Exynos chipsets are two of the many platforms we support out of the box, our teams could work together for a fast implementation."

NXP Software's LifeVibes VoiceExperience is available on the leading software and hardware platforms, such as Qualcomm Hexagon and Samsung Exynos. LifeVibes software solutions have been deployed in more than 2 billion devices.
