Morpho Taps Agnitio for Voice Biometrics Solution

Security solutions provider Morpho is adding Agnitio Voice iD technology to its line of criminal identification biometric products. Now criminal investigators can identify suspects, verify backgrounds, and confirm identities, even in cases where voice is the only available evidence.

"Morpho's biometric products have successfully helped many investigations, however, as criminals become more sophisticated, new law enforcement tools are required," said Philippe Vinci, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Agnitio, in a statement. "Voice iD is extremely accurate, beyond 99 percent, and requires only a few seconds of a live or recorded voice to search and make a match. With Morpho Criminal ID solutions, law enforcement officers will have new valuable information in real time."
