XoVox Communications Releases XCommunicator5
SHEFFIELD, U.K. - XoVox Communications Ltd. released their latest version of XCommunicator, version 5.
Following the previous XCommunicator releases, XoVox released their XCommunicator5 package that offers 2.0 EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) Bluetooth technology.
XCommunicator5 now offers:
- Enhanced input for speech recognition
- Enhanced input for voice capture
- Enhanced DAFR (Dynamic Audio Frequency Range)
- Enhanced audio to input response time
- More than three times the data transmission rates previously possible
- Up to seven Bluetooth connections through an adaptor
- Backward compatibility with previous Bluetooth standards so mixed devices can connect through an adaptor
- Less power draw from the connected device enabling longer usage times between charges
- An extended talking range of up to 120 meters
- Individual Pin authorization per connection plus an embedded 128-bit coding ensuring maximum security
- Mobile phone connectivity
XCommunicator5 PLUS now offers:

- Plus the addition of a Bluetooth mouse
- Enhanced Windows application control
- Bluetooth mouse operates up to 10 meters from the PC
- Using the controlling application, mouse functions can be pre-programmed to offer control over speech input
