XO Interactive Deploys Convedia Media Servers for VoIP-Enabled Interactive Voice Response Solutions

BOSTON, Mass. - XO Interactive has deployed Convedia's CMS-6000 media servers in its nationwide Voice over IP (VOIP) network.  Convedia's CMS-6000 media servers are an element of XO's Interactive Voice Response (IVR) infrastructure, and power IVR and out-dialing services for XO's global customer base.

Convedia's support for SIP, along with XML-based scripting languages like VoiceXML and MSML/MOML, allowed XO Interactive to develop, integrate, and deploy IVR applications for their customer's specific requirements. The CMS-6000 media processing platform provided XO with an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) compliant platform to enable future services such as voice conferencing, personalized ringback tones and multimedia-enabled services.
