Wizzard Software and MedivoxRx Technologies the Successful Bidder in EBay Auction for Olympian Sponsorship
PITTSBURGH - MedivoxRx Technologies, Inc. emerged the winner of a month-long advertising/sponsorship package offered by Olympic Silver Medalist Adam Nelson.
This advertising and sponsorship package, one of the more unusual auctions to hit EBay in recent times, includes 3 nationally broadcast television appearances of the Track and Field star wearing the MedivoxRx logo on NBC, ESPN and ESPN2, as well as a speaking engagement on behalf of MedivoxRx to be announced. "I'm looking forward to representing a like-minded, groundbreaking company like MedivoxRx Technologies," said Nelson. Adam Nelson is a decorated track and field athlete in the U.S., with two Olympic silver medals and two World Championship silver medals among his collection of shot-putting accolades. An Ivy League graduate of Dartmouth College, Nelson studied government as well as excelled in track and field and football. He is currently preparing for the upcoming U.S. Championships being held in California and New York. Nelson is also an advocate for the World Anti-Doping Agency and will donate a portion of the proceeds to this cause. Nelson will act as a spokesperson for MedivoxRx's product, Rex-The Talking Prescription Bottle. Rex-The Talking Prescription Bottle is an assistive device that allows users to "hear" recorded medication instructions. Using a special recording device, instructions are recorded into the base of the bottle. Instructions can then be "read" out-loud by pushing the button located on the side of the bottle. Portable and disposable, Rex is designed for the elderly, the visually impaired and cognitively impaired, or anyone who can't read or understand their medication label instructions. There are two ways to record to Rex. The Rex Pharmacy Technology allows pharmacists to electronically record the prescription label information to the bottle through ATandT Natural Voices Text-to-Speech engine. While pharmacy labels are printed, the same information is automatically recorded to the pill bottle in a computer generated voice. The Rex Pharmacy Technology is compatible with any pharmacy's current software and data. Rex Starter Kits and Rex Refill Kits are designed for personal use. Using a recorder, a voice-message is recorded into the base of the bottle.
