Wizzard Software Expands Relationship with IBM
PITTSBURGH, PA - Wizzard Software (OTCBB: WIZD) has signed a new agreement with IBM (NYSE: IBM) that expands their current relationship and positions Wizzard as the Sole OEM Distributor in North and South America for IBM's ViaVoice desktop speech recognition and text-to-speech runtime engines, as well as OEM Versions of the US English General Medical and General Legal Vocabularies. These specialized vocabularies can produce higher levels of recognition accuracy when used for dictating medical and legal documents. The agreement also allows Wizzard to distribute ViaVoice desktop runtime products in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in a full complement of languages, including US English, UK English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, French and German. Wizzard will promote the IBM ViaVoice branded runtimes in conjunction with their distribution of these products. IBM will maintain a web presence on the IBM ViaVoice site(s) to describe/promote the various programs and will refer customers to Wizzard's site for fulfillment of licenses, evaluation copies and technical support.
