Wispr, a voice interface company, today launched Wispr Flow for Windows following a successful Mac launch in 2024.

Wispr Flow allows users to speak naturally and see their words appear instantly, with built-in intelligence to edit, format, and refine their writing across any application. It includes the following capabilities:

  • Dictation, which lets users speak naturally and Flow transcribes in real time.
  • Auto-Edits in Real-Time -- Change your mind mid-sentence? Flow adapts instantly.
  • Smart Formatting, which automatically structures text for clarity and readability.
  • Command Mode, to instantly rewrite, refine, or adjust tone without leaving the app.
  • Whisper Mode, to use Flow discreetly in quiet environments.
  • Multi-Language Support, with optimized U.K. English and more than 100 expanded global languages.

"Wispr Flow is designed to free people from their keyboards and help them communicate more naturally," said Tanay Kothari, CEO and founder of Wispr, in a statement. "Since launching on Mac, users have dictated hundreds of millions of words, with most relying on Wispr Flow every day. With Windows support, Wispr Flow is now available to an even larger audience, making voice-powered productivity accessible across both major platforms."

"After decades of keyboard dependency, 2025 is a turning point," Kothari added. "Just as the touchscreen replaced physical buttons, voice is emerging as the next dominant input method for work, creativity, and even coding."

"Coding by voice is no longer a future concept; it's happening now," said Sahaj Garg, chief technology officer of Wispr, in a statement. "We've seen massive adoption among developers using tools like Cursor, Windsurf, and Warp. This is unlocking a whole new level of productivity."

Wispr alsdo forged a product partnership with Warp, the AI terminal, enabling developers to vibe code with their voice right inside the Warp Terminal.

"Warp's Voice feature with Wispr Flow lets developers speak commands and questions instead of typing them. It's really powerful when combined with Agent Mode for complex operations," said Zach Lloyd, CEO and founder of Warp, in a statement.
