Volt to Acquire Germany-Based Varetis for 21 Million Euro

BERLIN - Volt Information Sciences agreed to acquire Varetis Solutions from Varetis AG for approximately 21 million euro ($24.8 million). Varetis Solutions is a subsidiary of Munich-based Varetis AG, a supplier of directory technology for telephone companies and information service providers. Varetis Solutions delivers database and automation services. Volt said it expected to close the deal by the end of the year, pending approval by Volt's board of directors and Varetis AG shareholders.
