VoiceTrust Acquires Perceive Solutions

VoiceTrust, a provider of digital payment and voice biometric solutions, announced Wednesday its acquisition of Montreal-based voice technology firm Perceive Solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"Perceive has a product portfolio that is a perfect extension to the current VoiceTrust solutions," said Tariq Habib, CEO of VoiceTrust, in a statement. "The acquisition enhances our customer-focused delivery promise of continuous innovation and development, and Perceive's experienced management team will enable us to support and address the Canadian market in an accelerated fashion."

VoiceTrust is majority owned by Ramphastos Investments, the investment vehicle of Dutch investor Marcel Boekhoorn.
