VoiceSignal Releases Next Generation of VSpeak

WOBURN, Mass. - VoiceSignal released VSpeak 1.1, an update to its embedded text-to speech-solution.  This new and improved speech synthesis solution is available now in English (US & UK), French, German, Italian, and Spanish. It is currently being integrated on mobile phones by VoiceSignal's customers, and will be available to consumers later this year.

VSpeak, first launched in 2006, is a text-to-speech (TTS) application that can read names, phone menus, SMS text messages, email, Web pages or any other text.    

VSpeak 1.1 can be integrated on phones with less than 500KB of memory.

VSpeak complements VoiceSignal's VSuite and VoiceMode product lines by enabling mobile phone manufacturers to provide a speech interface solution to look up or dial a contact name, dial a number, address a text message, dictate a text message, or have a text message or other content read aloud.
