VoicePort and DSI Sign Joint Marketing Agreement

PITTSFORD, N.Y. - VoicePort, LLC and Data Sciences Incorporated (DSI) entered a joint marketing agreement. The agreement will give DSI exclusive rights to market VoicePort's speech-enabled solution for newspaper circulation departments, CircPort, to its clients.

CircPort provides an approach using speech recognition technology to enhance customer service for newspaper circulation departments, with the personalized voice information delivery. The available functions include reporting a delivery problem, placing a vacation hold, checking account status, new subscriptions and making payments. CircPort connects to circulation databases to make changes.

DSI's circulation software management system has been designed to support the demands placed on circulation directors. Their software provides the ability to track promotions and campaigns, append demographics to subscribers and non subscribers, and use reporting tools to retain and increase subscribers.

The CircPort application utilizes speech technology from VoicePort's partners VoiceGenie & ScanSoft.
