VoiceObjects Releases VoiceObjects Server

SAN MATEO, Calif. - VoiceObjects, Inc. released VoiceObjects Server, a phone application server. VoiceObjects Server is a member of the VoiceObjects 6 family of products, which enables enterprises and telecommunications carriers to create, deploy, manage and analyze over-the-phone self-service applications. VoiceObjects 6 features per-caller personalization, an application execution environment, Web services support, multimodal application support, and drill-down application analytics.

VoiceObjects Server is a phone application server, which is software that enables deployment and management of over-the-phone self-service applications.

All phone application servers have the following four capabilities:

• The ability to generate VoiceXML to create personalized dialogs with each caller at call-time, using information in an organization's CRM or other databases.
• An application execution environment that supports remote management and monitoring of multimodal applications and online application maintenance for changes or rollbacks.
• Web services support for integration between an organization's phone-based self-service assets and its CRM, ERP, and other IT assets in service-oriented architecture (SOA) environments. 
• Support for multimodal phone applications that may include voice, video, graphics and text interfaces.

The VoiceObjects 6 family of products contains two versions of VoiceObjects Server: Enterprise Edition and Network Edition. Network Edition adds to Enterprise Edition's feature set a multi-tenant environment for telecommunications carriers that wish to host phone applications for other organizations. VoiceObjects 6 also includes other software for use with VoiceObjects Server, including an administration and application management desktop, a developer studio, and an analytics offering.
