VoiceGenie & Fluency to Drive Voice-Enabled Applications and Services in Europe

TORONTO, CANADA and CAMBRIDGE, UK - VoiceGenie Technologies Inc., the VoiceXML Gateway solutions provider, and Fluency Voice Technology Ltd., a UK and US specialist in open standards voice technology, announced their co-marketing and technology partnership agreement. Fluency was spun out of the Voice Research and Development arm of netdecisions to respond to the increasing demand for voice-driven applications in the UK. Fluency's latest product, Fluency TravelHub, is a voice recognition product aimed specifically at Travel sector call centers, dealing with sales and customer support and integrating with all major reservation systems. VoiceGenie's carrier-grade VoiceXML Gateway is a Linux-based Voice Web solution engineered within the open VoiceXML architecture. VoiceGenie delivers the option of being deployed as a hosted or premise-based solution. The VoiceGenie Gateway is available in various fully integrated turnkey packages and supports multiple speech and text-to-speech engines.
