Voice 123 Acquired by Backstage

Voice123, a global marketplace for professional voiceover artists, has been acquired by Backstage, providers of a freelancer marketplace and application suite for creators. Voice123 will serve as an extension to Backstage for creators to have access to voice-acting and on-demand options on Backstage's streamlined platform.

Voice123 is a centralized platform for creatives in the voiceover industry, with more than 500,000 voice actors registered worldwide.

"Over the last 19 years, Voice123 has established itself as the industry leader in voiceover and voice-acting connection networks," said Rolf Veldman, CEO of Voice123, in a statement "With Backstage's resources, we'll be able to expand our offering and better meet the needs of today's voiceover talent."
